Posted by Budi Putra on April 21st, 2008 No Comments »

iPhone users will enjoy VoIP capability in their iPhones soon. Apple just announced that they already encourged developers to create VoIP applications for the iPhone. Fring will be a pioneer to put make VoIP available in the iPhone.

Fring described themselves in the website:

fring sits at the heart of the fringsters™ online communication world allowing the freedom to communicate with all popular communities’ members (Skype®, MSN® Messenger, Google Talk™, ICQ, SIP, Twitter, Yahoo!™, AIM®) without boundaries, and regardless of device, network operator, platform or the community(ies) to which they belong.

The ethos of encouraging freedom and mobility extends to giving fringsters the choice between available connection types (3G, EDGE, GPRS or Wi-Fi) and the enjoyment of fring’s benefits without subscription; fring is totally free to download and free to use - the only cost incurred by the user is the mobile internet connection.

iPhone will be launched in three new models? Wow!

Posted by Budi Putra on April 21st, 2008 No Comments »

It’s hard to believe, indeed, but I kept curious to know and follow what’s happen next on this issue:

Citing some anonymous sources, TimesOnline noted that Apple could unveil in June not just one new model of iPhone, but three.

An Asian analyst said for the British newspaper that the 3G iPhone will be “radically different” to the current device, which has a 4.5 inch screen and slick, aluminium backing. “Among the possibilities are flip version, which would enable the screen to be larger, and a sliding model with a regular qwerty keyboard - as opposed to a touchscreen one,” Times Online wrote.

iPhone, Google Phone, aren’t mobile phones

According to ZDNet blogger, the iPhone and the Google Android platform, actually aren’t mobile telephones, but Internet clients.

Internet clients use exponentially more data bandwidth than ordinary digital phones, which use thin streams of compressed data. Maybe several exponentials.
